Broward County Library (BCL) is celebrating International Women's Day and National Women's History Month in March 2021. In keeping with the 2021 International Women’s Day theme #ChoosetoChallenge, BCL is hosting a series of online programs that encourage women to challenge themselves in new and exciting ways.
This event is part of BCL’s multi-part #ChooseToChallenge female-focused educational series. In this session, you will hear from a panel of experts specializing in women’s health and fitness. At the end of the session, participants will have a chance to ask their own health-related questions to the panelists!
Panelists Scheduled to Attend:
Dr. Fabienne Achille, MD, FACOG, is board-certified and extensively trained in the specialty of Obstetrics and Gynecology with diverse expertise, from routine care to advanced surgical procedures including robotic surgery. Dr. Achille has been practicing obstetrics and gynecology for over 10 years.
Deborah Grayson, Ph.D., LMHC, PTR, is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who earned her PhD in Clinical Sexology and has 45 years of experience in the field. She is a Registered Poetry Therapist and Expressive Arts Specialist whose practice focuses on expressive and healing arts therapies, anxiety and depression, and intimacy concerns. Dr. Grayson is also an adjunct professor at Lynn University in Boca Raton, FL. teaching in the Psychology department.
Dr. Jessica Ketterer, Ph.D., has a doctorate in Clinical Health Psychology and currently works with the Memorial Cancer Institute. Dr. Ketterer has several years of experience within psycho-oncology, physical rehabilitation, and health psychology settings, working with adult patients and caregivers alike.
Leslie Morris, M.S., CES, CTTS, C-IAYT has a master's in Exercise Science and currently works as Tobacco Cessation Services Program Coordinator for NSU AHCE in conjunction with Tobacco Free Florida. She is also a certified Wellness Coach and Yoga Therapist. that has taught various fitness modalities including special needs and children’s exercise, aqua, Pilates, yoga, aerobics, strength and stress management classes as wells as corporate and senior Wellness programs to all levels and abilities for 40 years.
