Broward County Library (BCL) is celebrating International Women's Day and National Women's History Month in March 2021. In keeping with the 2021 International Women’s Day theme #ChoosetoChallenge, BCL is hosting a series of online programs that encourage women to challenge themselves in new and exciting ways. This event is part of BCL’s multi-part #ChooseToChallenge female-focused educational series.

Patricia Russo is a nationally respected leader focused on achieving political parity in the United States and the world. For over thirty years, she has held numerous leadership positions in public, private and not for profit organizations centered on gender equality. She has held leadership positions on federal, state and local political campaigns.
The Campaign School at Yale is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, issue neutral political campaign training program for individuals interested in running for office or running political campaigns. The School’s premier five day intensive at Yale Law School has been in existence for over twenty-five years. Its mission is to the increase the number of women in the political pipeline.
