AARLCC Road Scholars join AARLCC Afro-Wanderlust for travel experiences/discussions to inspire you to pick up and explore safely!
The African American Research Library and Cultural Center (AARLCC) calls on all #AARLCCroadScholars to join us and Travel Nation on an exciting road trip of Black Florida and beyond.
In this first series, we will begin in Key West, work our up to Black Miami, cruise out of Fort Lauderdale. Upon returning, we will discover black history in Fort Lauderdale. Next, we move on to Palm Beach, Cocoa Beach, Daytona Beach, Fernandina Beach, St. Augustine with our trip ending in Jacksonville.
Take this road trip and enjoy and learn about the culture, and history of Black Florida. Each series will take us further across the nation and abroad as we explore our Afro-Wanderlust. This series is hosted by Lynda Nation owner of Travel Nation and supporter of the Friends of AARLCC. Linda Nation is AARLCC’s Afro-Wanderlust Coordinator, proceeds from all group trips support the Friends of AARLCC.
