Broward County Library brings you a Japanese storytelling creations from Morikami Museum & Gardens.
Using a traditional kamishibai also know as a Japanese picture book experience a folk tale from Japan.
The Fisherman & the Dragon Palace - Follow the tale of Urashima Taro, a kind young fisherman who accepts an invitation to visit a palace under the sea, as he learns that adventures sometimes have consequences.
Following the story will be a craft. Kits may be requested from South Regional Youth Services at 954-201-8821 while supplies last.
Event is appropriate for most 1st through 3rd graders.
