About the film
Our selection for Hispanic Heritage Month is Windows on the World. This moving film is about a son's journey from Mexico to New York to look for his father, an undocumented worker at the World Trade Center who goes missing after 9/11.

About the host
Our guest host for this month's discussion is Yair Solan, Assistant Professor of Literature and Film in the Department of Humanities and Politics at Nova Southeastern University. He has published articles in the areas of American literature, film history, and early media culture and has contributed commentary tracks to several releases of classic films. At NSU, Dr. Solan teaches courses in American and world literature, the graphic memoir, and film studies.
