The Social Justices Common Read is part of Broward County Library’s Stand Up Speak Out Series highlighting issues of social justice that impact the lives of all Broward county residents.
This event is presented by the Florida Memorial University’s Social Justice Institute. Partners that make the South Florida Social Justice Common Read possible are Florida Memorial University’s Social Justice Institute, Broward County’s African American Research Library and Cultural Center, and the South Florida People of Color. This program is supported by the Friends of the African-American Research Library and Cultural Center.
Room capacity is limited to ensure compliance with social distancing guidelines. Indoor, in-person programs will be contingent on Centers for Disease Control benchmark and guidance for low COVID-19 infection rates. High rates of infection will necessitate cancellation of indoor, in-person programs.
