Signing Stories is an opportunity for families and friends to gather at the library and experience the world of books.
Signing Stories is back at your local Broward County Library presented by the Center for Hearing and Communication. Each month the program presents a children’s story in American Sign Language and supported by an interpreter for all children and families to enjoy. Following the story time, children will engage in fun craft activity in the children’s section of the library while parents are encouraged to stay for a presentation on various topics throughout the year. Everyone is welcome to come out and join the fun. Interpreter will be present along with the staff from Center for Hearing and Communication and student volunteers.
The Center for Hearing and Communication helps people with hearing loss find support with hearing tests, assistance with hearing aids, speech and language therapy, emotional health and wellness counseling, and educational support in New York City and Ft. Lauderdale. CHC is a non-profit organization with comprehensive services to all those in need.
