Meet us on BCL's Facebook Live to learn all about Florida's Oceans of Possibilities on Thursday mornings, from June 2 through August 11.
Join us live from the research vessel R/V ANGARI in West Palm Beach, FL! After starting its life as a private yacht, the vessel was refitted and customized for ocean research by ANGARI Foundation in 2016. It now serves as an exceptional platform for marine science fieldwork and hands-on education around Florida and The Bahamas, supporting research on water chemistry and ocean acidification, coral reefs, sea turtles, sharks and more. During this live segment, Angela Rosenberg, President of ANGARI Foundation and Captain of R/V ANGARI, will lead us on a tour of the vessel, introduce us to the scientists and crew, and share some of the recent research done aboard.
ANGARI Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit established in 2016 and headquartered in West Palm Beach, FL.
