Kids practice reading aloud to a therapy dog! Each child gets a turn to read to the dog. They gain confidence and become better readers. Ages 5 and up with caregivers.
Children ages 5 to 12 can read to a pet therapy dog! This program improves reading skills and gives children a unique way to practice reading. Each child can read a story to a friendly and gentle dog from the Humane Society's Pet Facilitated Therapy program.
Registration is required. Please register each child as a guest.
