Dr. Peters is an International Economist & current visiting professor at FIU who has worked for over 30 years assisting foreign governments with healthcare policies. Since retiring, he has turned to writing biotechnology thriller novels, using his personal experiences while living in emerging countries. Most recently, he was awarded the 2024 British Golden Quill Award for Best Eco Espionage Thriller.
The Seed Sanctuary explores the development of a super agri-seed to combat food insecurity due to climate change, and a prescient foreshadowing story of a genocidal story from European fascists to destroy the seeds, until a Mossad agent stumbles upon this nefarious plot and embarks on a perilous mission to save the seeds.
