REFORMA Storytelling Night/Noche de Cuentos
Holiday Caribbean Stories, Steel Drum Music and Chicken Soup

Multipurpose RoomA celebration of the power of stories in English, Creole and Spanish.
The storytelling night will resemble those nights in the Caribbean when families and children gather at night, at the entrance of their homes, to tell stories.
Program will include:
- Holiday Caribbean Stories told by Cuban-American storyteller, award winning author, puppeteer and librarian, Lucía M. González

- Poetry performance in Creole by Poet Andre Fouad

Chicken soup to celebrate the Holiday season offered by the Veggie Lady, former City of Lauderdale Lakes Commissioner and President of the Friends of the Library Mrs. Beverly Williams, with the support of the Friends of the Library of Lauderdale Lakes
- The seven principles of Kwanza. Interactive learning activities conducted by folklorist Takiyah Williams
