Join us for our first Teen Advisory Board (TAB) meeting! TAB is a group of teen volunteers who make suggestions, plan programs, and conduct programs for our library. Space is limited.
The AF Teen Advisory Board will meet once a month for 1.5 to workshop program ideas for children ages 6-12 years old and delegate roles to ensure the programs' success.
At the first meeting, students will be asked to create a program using the provided worksheet to flesh out a program idea. At the 2nd meeting, we will vote on the top 5-10 programs and the order of which will be produced.
Each monthly meeting will devoted to prepping for the upcoming after school programs and encouraging the students to step into a project management role, covering:
· Choosing a date and time
· Creating an outline and budget requests for the activity
· Staffing the program and determining tech/ food needs
· Marketing: promoting the program with friends/at school/ online
This program is generously sponsored by the Broward Sheriff's Office LETF Grant. Food will be provided.
