The Sylvester Office of Outreach and Engagement team is under the umbrella of the Sylvester Cancer Center and both serve and engage with communities throughout South Florida.
The Sylvester Office of Outreach and Engagement (SOOE) team strives daily to make meaningful impact in our community through outreach and by offering various free screening services. The following services are provided for FREE: cervical, prostate, and colorectal cancer screening and cancer health education rooted in prevention & early detection via Mobile Bus.
Cervical Cancer - Women aged 21 to 65 years, every 3 years, no hysterectomy
Prostate Cancer Screening - Standard Risk: men ages 50-69, High Risk: Men 45-69 if they have a family history or Black/African Ancestry
Colorectal Cancer Screening - Men & Women 45- 75 years old
