Tribute to the Army's first black regiment, the 54th Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry, that was mustered up during the Civil War under the command of an inexperienced white New Englander. Cast: Denzel Washington, Cary Elwes, Andre Braugher, Jihmi Kennedy, John Finn.
6:15 pm: "The Black History of Memorial Day." Presentation and discussion moderated by former City Commissioner Levoyd Williams.
