Celebrate Juneteenth and a summer of adventure at your library by learning West African drums. Space is limited to 25. Registration required.
Come join us for our Summer Learning Kick-off as we delve into the rhythmic heart of West African cultures. We'll provide djembes (hand drums) and guide you through basic drumming techniques. This workshop is a welcoming space for everyone to connect with the spirit of Juneteenth through West African movement and music. Participants are encouraged to wear a red article of clothing to commemorate Juneteenth. Registration is encouraged as space is limited.
