Learn Japanese culture and language as you create a traditional Gyotaku print with real fish.
Gyotaku is a traditional method of printing fish which dates back to the mid 1800s. Participants will create their own print, and learn how to sign the print in their own name.
Materials will be provided, and space is limited.
Due to the limited nature of space in this program and that supplies will be purchased based on expected participants, attendees must be registered at least one week in advance of the program. Registration will be closed thereafter.
If you register and cannot attend, we ask that you cancel your reservation so others can participate.
Call 954-201-8896 for more details and/or for assistance with registration.
This event is sponsored by the Friends of the South Regional/Broward College Library.
