Memorable Love Songs

with Emily & Patrice

Emily Kennedy, instrumentalist and composer, will take us on a musical journey through memorable love songs. She will be accompanied by pianist Patrice Risi.

Emily Isabel Kennedy is an American instrumentalist and composer. She received her bachelor's degree in Music from Nova Southeastern University, in South Florida. She performs various genres of music because she claims music can be powerful and healing in any culture, and she has experienced this in her own life. South Florida provides a vibrant and diverse backdrop for her musical aspirations. She has played in many ensembles in South Florida, and she states that, "her goal is to play and compose music that inspires". Along with her playing, she has composed songs that are relevant in today's world.

Patrice Risi is a talented music educator and performer with a passion to see others enjoy her music. Her love for music and students has shone through over 20 years’ experience in teaching elementary and high school music, chorus, band, and drama, in the private school and in working with adult ensembles in the church.  She has performed in various bands in nightclub and wedding venues, as a singer, keyboardist, and master of ceremonies, and has sung on radio jingle commercials.
