140, Program Room (Youth)Art workshop in celebration of America’s 250th Anniversary. For ages 13 to 18. Registration is required for each participant.
Utilizing various art techniques, participants will create an artistic representation illustrating their vision for America’s 300th year, as they explore how the country may adapt to changes in technology and the environment in the next fifty years
The program encourages creativity, teamwork, and civic engagement while honoring the values of community and shared history central to America’s 250th anniversary.
Educational & Community Objectives
- Encourage youth to explore and express ideas about community and belonging
- Support creative thinking and visual storytelling
- Introduce age-appropriate conversations about history, identity, and the future
- Celebrate community voices as part of America’s 250-year legacy
