Hear stories of sea turtles here in south Florida, and how sometimes they need our help. Learn what you can do to keep them safe. Get hands on with sea turtle bones, shells, and more.
Samantha Olszak, a marine biologist and environmental specialist with Broward County, focuses on marine conservation and education for the new wave of environmental stewards.
The Marine Resources Section of the Natural Resources Division is dedicated to protecting Broward's beaches and coastal areas, which provide habitats for a variety of species including threatened or endangered corals, manatees, and sea turtles.
