What are your rights as an immigrant in the United States of America? Learn about them with Legal Aid Staff Attorney, Andrea Crumrine.
Andrea Crumrine is a staff attorney in the Immigration Unit at Legal Aid Service of Broward County in Plantation, Florida where she represents Broward residents detained in the custody of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (“ICE”) in south Florida. Ms. Crumrine focuses on mixed status families to reduce the time families are separated due to immigration issues. She also consults with individuals in jail as to how their criminal cases may impact their immigration status. Prior to joining Legal Aid, Ms. Crumrine launched a project sponsored by Equal Justice Works to increase representation of asylum-seekers detained in ICE custody. She is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. Ms. Crumrine speaks Spanish fluently.
