Smartphones make it easier now than ever to capture the world through your eyes.
Whether you're interested in filmmaking, social media content creation, or simply capturing better videos on your phone, this workshop series will teach you how to plan, shoot, and edit videos on your smartphone like a professional. Over the course of three workshops, you'll create a 3–5 minute narrative or documentary short film on a topic important to you. Participants are expected to attend all 3 workshops. No prior filmmaking experience or knowledge is needed—just bring your smartphone and general ideas for your film.
Completed short films will be screened at a culminating showcase. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top 3 films (one filmmaker per film).
