Registration is required. Participants must be age 60 or older and must attend by Week 2 (Jan. 16, 2024) to complete registration.
Many older adults experience concerns about falling and, as a result, restrict their activities. The “A Matter of Balance Program” is an 8-week, 2-hour series. The program utilizes trained volunteer coaches to teach individuals practical strategies to prevent/manage falls as well as increase activity levels. Sessions include: videos, discussions, exercises, and a presentation by an allied healthcare professional. Participants must be aged 60 and older.
