Get up to speed quickly with your Windows computer with this thorough, jargon-free introduction to computers, files and folders, and networks.
This recorded video course also covers the components of computers and a basic introduction to software applications.
After covering your User folder and desktop, the training goes into the mouse right-click, how to save and open files, how to get your computer’s Internet access set up, and how to protect your machine from viruses.
Q&A, discussion, and hands-on practice are included.
Seating is limited to 10 participants. Call the AARLCC CTC at 954-357-6236 the week before the course to register.
Participants should bring a notebook and a pen or pencil.
A library card is not required to participate in the course.
