Code/Art Summer Club for Gals and Non-Binary Pals
Monday, July 29
2:00pm - 3:30pm
Join a Code/Art Summer Club to learn coding by creating artistic masterpieces!
Code/Art Clubs for girls and non-binary students (in rising 6th-9th grade) offer a social & creative introduction to computer programming and are taught by experienced instructors. Using an art-infused curriculum, club members will learn to code animations, games, mobile apps, websites and digital art.
This program is brought to the NSU Alvin Sherman Library by Code/Art. Code/Art is a non-profit organization on a mission to increase the number of girls in computer science by delighting and inspiring them with the creative possibilities of computer programming. Code/Art strives to put young women, particularly young women from historically underrepresented groups, on track for future tech careers by providing welcoming early coding programs that focus on art, creativity and social good.
