Storytime for children and workshop for parents affected by hearing loss, deafness, or hearing challenges. A project between Center for Hearing and Communication and the Broward County Library.
Signing Stories is back at your local Broward County Library!
Signing Stories is an opportunity for families and friends to gather at the library and experience the world of books. Each month the program presents a children’s story in American Sign Language and supported by an interpreter for all children and families to enjoy. Following the story time, children will engage in fun craft activity in the children’s section of the library while parents are encouraged to stay for a presentation on various topics throughout the year.
Everyone is welcome to come out and join the fun. Interpreter will be present along with the staff from Center for Hearing and Communication and student volunteers.
