This is a social book club, and we read one book over the course of two months. This allows our members to read at a casual pace.
Odyssey Sci-Fi & Fantasy Book Club focuses on science fiction and fantasy written by women, people of color, and members of LGBTQIA+ communities. We occasionally read classic science fiction and fantasy to help contextualize the more contemporary narratives that we typically read.
This book club is appropriate for older young adults and adults.
We meet online, on the first Monday of every month.
For the December 1st meeting, we will be reading Womb City, by Tlotlo Tsamaase (Stop at 16:29 /// Stalker's Heaven; Page 208).
For the January 12th meeting, we will be reading Womb City, by Tlotlo Tsamaase (From 16:29 /// Stalker's Heaven to the end of the book).
For the February 2nd meeting, we will be reading Elatsoe, by Darcie Little Badger.
For the March 2nd meeting, we will be reading This Is How You Lose The Time War, by Amal El-Mohtar and Max Gladstone.
For the April 6th meeting, we will be reading Zero Stars, Do Not Recommend, by M. J. Wassmer (First Half).
For the May 4th meeting, we will be reading Zero Stars, Do Not Recommend, by M. J. Wassmer (Second Half).
