Rick Sheffield caught a lucky break in high school when a speech teacher told him he should really consider going into radio. With a degree in Speech & Broadcasting from the University of South Florida, he spent over five decades working for numerous radio and TV stations, ad agencies, and production companies, even flying Traffic Watch over South Florida. His comedy/thriller novel, “Dishwasher Safe” draws upon many colorful characters and bizarre situations from his checkered career.
