Join us for this monthly event series where book enthusiasts gather to connect with authors. Each month features a discussion with a different author.
Authors will share the stories behind their works and their literary journey. Whether you're an avid reader, aspiring writer or simply love great stories, this program provides an inspiring and enriching experience!
Marilyn Johansen is a watercolor artist and author who grew up in a military family. Her father, who inspired this book, was an Air Force fighter pilot during the Cold War. Both her art and written word focus on honoring those who serve or have served our Country as a part of the military. This memoir tells the story of intelligence gathering through reconnaissance flights and secret missions alongside family dynamics.
Be sure to also come in to the second floor art gallery to view some of her watercolor paintings on display during the months of November and December.
