Adventure begins at your library! Join us this summer to explore the many opportunities available to enjoy fresh air, Florida’s famous sunshine and recreation in the great outdoors with a program series presented by Naturalists and park volunteers from Broward County Parks and Recreation.

If you want to learn more about nature when you go outside, look no further than your smartphone! In this day and age, we have access to amazing applications designed to help us interpret the world around us with the click of a button.
Join us to discover some of the apps that nature enthusiasts and scientists are using to learn more about the natural world. We will discuss three different apps we use as Broward County Naturalists and how you can use them yourself during your very own outdoor adventures.
About the Presenter: Broward County Parks and Recreation

For more than 68 years, the Broward County Parks and Recreation Division has dedicated itself to providing a countywide park system with diverse facilities and recreation opportunities, along with natural area conservation and research-based educational outreach, to enhance the well-being of all residents, businesses and visitors. The Division manages almost 6,500 acres of park land, encompassing more than 50 regional parks, nature centers, neighborhood parks, natural areas and specialty parks.
