"Our Voices: Festival of Words" is a free community festival that celebrates the diversity and joy of literature through multiple activities - performances, author readings, children's activities, meditation garden, food trucks, music and much more. It is an event that is rooted in community and seeks to directly address the low literacy rates in Broward County.
Through celebrating literature and uplifting literacy, the event’s aim is to provide the local community with an annual space to engage with books and writers with a hope to impact, not only quality of life, but directly combat the cycle of illiteracy by creating a content-rich environment for all community members.
