If Dinosaurs Walked Among Us: Reimagining the Past
Imagination • Storytelling • Exploration
Wednesday, July 22
2:00pm - 3:30pm
Pompano Beach Library and Cultural Center
Multipurpose RoomPainting a fully imagined dinosaur inspired by fossil evidence
Join us as we learn more about dinosaurs: how scientists know and imagine the texture of skin, color, feathers, and movement, and how environment shapes appearance.
Then, create and paint your own dinosaur, based on what you have learned, as if it exists today. Add in your own personal storytelling elements (color, size, where it lives), give your dinosaur a name, and share your dinosaur's story!
Families are welcome! No painting experience necessary!
Presented by Reneil Henry of Level 5 Murals.
Registration Required for each family member. Children are registered as the participant and parents/caregiver register as guests.
Sponsored by Pompano Beach Friends of the Library.
A Service of the Broward County Board of County Commissioners.
