Dino Dig: Jurassic Egg Excavation
Summer Learning Program 2026
Saturday, July 25
12:30pm - 2:30pm
Main Library
Programming Room (1)Part two of our Dino Dig series is here! We’re returning with a batch of frozen dinosaur eggs and need our archaeological team to reveal what’s hidden inside each one.
Each archeologist will receive one dinosaur egg and a tool kit. This program will require the handling of baking soda and vinegar.
But there's more! In our collection of fossils there is one large, rare dinosaur egg. If you're up for the challenge, test your paleontology skills by guessing which species it contains. Correct guesses win prizes!
To ensure that library staff are able to deliver a fun, enriching experience, attendance is limited to 35 on a first-come, first-served basis.
