The Magic Show: Underneath the Impossible
Interactive Family Magic Show with David Frost
Thursday, July 30
10:30am - 11:30am
Join us for the Magic Show Experience, a high-energy, interactive program for children, teens, and families led by South Florida magician David Frost.
This program is intended to serve as a signature Summer Learning event that blends entertainment with learning and theme-based engagement. The concept centers on the theme “Underneath a Story” by using magic as a metaphor for discovery. Participants will explore how both stories and illusions reveal deeper meaning when we look beneath the surface.
The show includes age-appropriate illusions, comedy, and active audience participation. The scholarship connection supports STEAM learning, especially inquiry, observation, and critical thinking. The program encourages youth to explore questions such as: What clues are hidden in plain sight? What is happening underneath what we see? How do stories and magic both create wonder?
- Engage with the SLP 2026 theme “Underneath a Story” through interactive performance and discovery.
- Strengthen curiosity, critical thinking, and observation skills.
- Experience family-friendly entertainment that supports community connection.
- Increase interest in reading and library resources related to magic, mystery, and STEM/STEAM.
