Northwest Regional Library
Room 214Learn why it is more important than ever to keep our brain healthy!
Similar to how we enhance our health by training our bodies at the gym, we can strengthen our cognitive functions through mental exercise. Our Brain fitness Class gives our brain a boost to reach its full cognitive potential. Brain Fitness is a way of strengthening cognitive skills by improving neural connections in the brain. As you build and strengthen new neural pathways, you improve your brain’s ability to process incoming information. This a series of 4 classes. Each class will cover a different topic.
Presenter Sara O’Mara is a telehealth clinical therapist working with patients across Florida to manage symptoms of depression and anxiety with specialties in management of chronic illness, ADHD in children and adults, perinatal mental health, and mental health in older adults.
