Multipurpose RoomCome together and learn about traditional and contemporary melodies from the Andes Mountains of Ecuador, Peru, and Bolivia!
Paco Moreno, a teacher and luthier (maker of stringed instruments) born in the highlands of Ecuador, performs traditional and contemporary melodies from the Andes Mountains of Ecuador, Peru, and Bolivia.
- He provides information about the instruments, music, and the cultures where this music is played.The audience is encouraged to participate in playing and/or dancing along throughout the performance.
- Paco also utilizes storytelling to engage the younger audience.
Life in the traditional communities of the Andes reflects and exemplifies the theme of "All Together Now". Examples of unity and community as well as kindness for the Earth and each other in the context of life in the Andes will be highlighted in this musical presentation.
