This summer join the NSU Art Museum Docent Speakers Bureau for an illustrated talk focused on the revolution that the Impressionist artists created and their lasting influence as we celebrate “Color Our World/Colorea Nuestro Mundo.”

Impressionism: How a group of young French artists broke with tradition and revolutionized the use of color and brush work, an influence that continues to today. This program is presented by Barbara Krakower, a veteran educator and Carol Hornig, a USAID diplomat for many years and visiting professor of international development at the U.S. Army War College.

The mission of NSU Art Museum is to provide exceptional opportunities to access, learn from and be inspired by the highest level of visual artistic expression throughout time and from around the world, and to engage a wide audience by offering diverse and innovative exhibitions, dynamic education and public programs, and by developing an exceptional collection, and fostering original research and intellectual inquiry.
