Information literacy is the ability to discover and use various types of information. It's an essential skill for navigating the information age.
In this class you will learn about strategies for finding information—from a library, archive, database, or the Internet, and the ethics of using it. You will also learn how to understand the information cycle,
working with books, periodicals, databases, and web resources, also identifying your information needs, choosing search terms and evaluating resources.
Registration is required.
Computer Classes are offered at the City of Lauderdale Lakes Computer Lab located on the 2nd Floor of the Lauderdale Lakes Library.
Q&A, discussion, and hands-on practice are included.
