William Castano-Bedoya is a Colombian American writer whose works masterfully weaves unique personal experiences with the universal struggles of humanity. Born in Armenia, a city in the Colombian Coffee Region, he spent his youth in Bogotá, where he studied Marketing and Advertising at the Jorge Tadeo Lozano University. In the 1980s he emigrated to the United States, where he became a naturalized citizen and developed an outstanding career as a creative and image strategist for important corporations. In 2018 he decided to dedicate himself completely to his vocation. He currently resides in Coral Gables, Florida, where he finds inspiration for his works. With a distinctive voice and powerful narrative, William continues to captivate readers with stories that transcend boundaries.
Among its most notable titles are: “Los mendigos de la luz de Mercurio: We the Other People”/ “We the Other People: The beggars of the Mercury Lights”; “El galpón/The Galpon”, “Flores para María Sucel/Flowers for Maria Sucel, "Ludovico"/"Los monólogos de Ludovico" and "Nos vemos en Estocolmo"/"See you in Stockholm." Available in Spanish and English.
