Get ready for Teen L.O.L - Teen Library Out Loud! Teens ages 14-19 are invited to learn more about the upcoming Teen Library Out Loud Program. There will be food, prizes, giveaways, and more!
Your voice belongs here! This March and April, teens ages 14-19 are invited to be a honorary guest of Southwest Regional Library's first of its kind youth-led, recorded conversation. This new program serves as an exciting safe space for teens to explore and participate in discussion and perspectives of societal issues, diverse backgrounds, and personal experiences. Led by a youth fellow, teens will help shape questions and participate in small-group conversations and share perspectives that become part of a larger national dialogue.
Join us at the launch party to learn more about this exciting new program, participate in a brainstorming session, and register for a recorded conversation session!
Parent/guardian permission is required to participate in recorded conversation sessions. For more information, please speak to Ms. Jessica at the youth services desk or call 954-357-6733.
The Southwest Regional Library is 1 of 10 libraries selected nationwide to join the Teen Dialogue Accelerator, a new program empowering teens to host conversations on civic life, democracy, and the future of work. This program is made possible through the support of our sponsors: Cortico, MIT center for constructive communication, PBS Frontline, and the Broward Public Library Foundation.
