Gallery B, Michael Bienes Seminar Room #2Join us for summer art! In this six-week series, participants will explore art, culture & creativity in hands-on workshops.
Each week, participants will discover new artistic techniques, study influential artists, and create original works while building confidence, creativity, and observation skills.
Week 1: Line Drawing, Shape Exploration, Shading and Principles of Light & Dark
Week 2: Depth & Perspective
Week 3: Color Theory & Layering
Week 4: Texture, Sculpture and Mixed Media
Week 5: Fiber Art, Patterns & Cultural Expression
Week 6: Exhibition & Community Art Event
The series concludes with a special exhibition and community celebration. Families are invited to view the artwork created throughout the summer. During this interactive event, participants and community members will also have the opportunity to paint their own artwork alongside The Color Bubble staff, making it a creative celebration for all.
