Why Legacy Matters
An Intergenerational Approach to Success and Purpose
Monday, July 13
6:00pm - 7:00pm
Miramar Branch Library and Education Center
Multipurpose RoomJoin Brett Waggoner for a guided reflection & audience discussion designed to encourage you to think more deeply about purpose, connection, & the lasting impact we can have on future generations.
Why is leaving a legacy important? We spend much of our lives focused on our own careers, goals, and achievements. While these things matter, it is important to also consider the impact we make across generations. Whether we approach this from sharing our experiences, wisdom, and knowledge with the generations that come after us, or taking the time to learn from the generations that came before us, intergenerational connection has the power to transform our lives and our communities. Drawing from psychology, literature, and history, this program includes guided reflection and audience discussion designed to encourage attendees to think more deeply about purpose, connection, and the lasting impact individuals can have on future generations.
