The Treasures from Aztlan: Hispanic Women’s Voices explores the intersections of race, ethnicity, gender, and class in the lives of Latina women—and how these intersecting oppressions affect women from marginalized communities. Dr. Dominguez-Karimi will discuss the history of the laws and practices that impacted Hispanics.
Dr. Rebecca Dominguez-Karimi is an oral historian, writer, and podcaster. Rebecca holds a Ph.D. in Comparative Studies and a Certificate in Gender Studies from Florida Atlantic University. www.rebeccakarimi.com
