Literacy boosting activities and free diverse books.
Rooted in Reading Book Festival is a free literacy experience for underserved Black and Brown children. This initiative is aligned with our mission of promoting literacy, fostering a love for reading, and addressing the educational disparities faced by underprivileged youth in our community. The goal of this event is to promote the joy of reading among children from marginalized communities by immersing them in literacy boosting activities, distributing free diverse books to build their home libraries, and providing opportunities to interact and with Black Children's Authors
