Join us in celebrating Broward County Library’s One Book One Broward 2026 program, centering on the reconciliation and regeneration of our communities’ cultural and indigenous traditions, which are bound by coastal reefs to the East and Everglades wetlands to the West. Weaving together the voices of four indelible women, The Seed Keeper by Diane Wilson is a story of reawakening, of remembering our original relationship to the seeds and, through them, to our ancestors. Spanning several generations, the novel follows a Dakhóta family’s struggle to preserve their way of life, and their sacrifices to protect what matters most.
