Beginner's Tai Chi Class: Introduction to Qi Gong & Tai Chi (20 minutes)
This gentle, beginner-friendly class introduces the foundational principles of Tai Chi and Qi Gong. We begin with Qi Gong breathing and energy work, focusing on the 8 Pieces of Brocade, a classic set of movements designed to promote relaxation, flexibility, and internal balance. The 20 minute session concludes with a brief Introduction to Tai Chi, offering a taste of flowing, meditative movement to build body awareness and calm the mind.
Advanced Tai Chi Class: 24 Tai Chi Short Form (40 minutes)
Designed for experienced practitioners, this class focuses on the 24-Form Yang Style Tai Chi, also known as the Short Form. Over 40 minutes, we refine posture, transitions, and internal energy flow, emphasizing precision, breath coordination, and deeper mind-body integration. Ideal for those looking to enhance their practice and deepen their understanding of Tai Chi as a moving meditation.
