Children aged 5 to 12 can participate in a program where they read to a pet therapy dog!
Read to a Therapy Dog at the Library: This program helps children strengthen their reading skills by providing a welcoming, supportive environment for practicing reading aloud.
Through the Humane Society’s Pet-Facilitated Therapy Program, children will have the opportunity to read stories to friendly, gentle therapy dogs. This unique experience helps build reading confidence while making literacy fun and engaging.
