About Older Adults Technology Services (OATS):
Older Adults Technology Services (OATS) from AARP is a national nonprofit dedicated to helping older adults harness the power of technology to improve their lives. Through Senior Planet Centers, online programs, and community partnerships, OATS provides free classes, resources, and support so older adults can thrive in a digital world.
On December 4, 2023, OATS opened the Senior Planet Center in Miami’s vibrant Wynwood neighborhood—the first AARP-funded, technology-themed community center in the area for adults 50+. This modern, welcoming space features 72 screens, cutting-edge computer equipment, and free Wi-Fi—all at no cost. It’s the perfect place to learn new skills, explore technology, and connect with others.
