Join us for an interactive community event with nephrologists and dietitians as we explore how to protect your kidneys through informed healthcare and healthy eating habits.
Kidney Health Matters is a community event hosted by the Life Alliance Organ Recovery Agency, the Charlton L. Johnson Foundation, and the African American Research Library and Cultural Center. This event brings together a nephrologist, individuals on the kidney transplant waitlist, living kidney donors, dietitian, and other community members to promote kidney health and disease prevention. This educational forum will feature keynote presentations from healthcare experts who will discuss common kidney-related conditions such as chronic kidney disease, the importance of early detection, and the role of nutrition in maintaining kidney function. The event will also offer Q&A sessions and provide free educational materials to empower attendees with the tools and knowledge they need to take control of their kidney health. Whether you’re managing a kidney condition, supporting a loved one, or simply looking to live a healthier life, this event is open to all. Let's learn together, connect with professionals, and build a stronger, healthier community.
