Ester Brewda, soprano, will perform a unique concert in Hebrew, Yiddish, and Ladino for Jewish Heritage Month.
In celebration of Jewish Heritage Month, Ester Brewda will perform a unique repertoire in three languages to highlight the variety of Jewish music throughout the centuries.
She will also include songs written by famed Jewish American musical composers. She will be accompanied by pianist, Gregory Szeto.
Ester Brewda is a lyric soprano originally from Argentina. She studied at the Buchardo Conservatory of Music and the Teatro Colón Art Institute. She holds degrees in Piano and in Voice, with further advanced studies in Vienna and Munich. She has performed in the US, Argentina, Ukraine, Puerto Rico, and Australia, sung as a soloist for the Florida Miami Opera, and has given numerous chamber recitals at colleges and churches. She taught voice at the University of Miami for four years, and for thirty years has taught piano and voice privately. She resides in Weston, FL.
