This recorded video course shows how to find jobs online efficiently and effectively through job search tips, posting your resume online, and leveraging your network. Participants will gain hands-on experience by creating an account and profile at an online job site, posting a resume, searching for a job, and setting up a job alert.
The course also covers interview skills, such as how job seekers can be more successful in interviews, how to research the company and the position so that you’re prepared to speak about your suitability in a non-generic way, and how to use the art of storytelling and the STAR framework to deliver your answers.
Seating is limited to 10 participants. Call the AARLCC CTC at 954-357-6236 the week before the course to register.
Participants should bring a notebook and a pen or pencil.
